Apple’s next update to OS X, known as ‘Snow Leopard’ is due for release at Apple’s WWDC in June and it has now distributed to its the latest build, telling them that there would be no more changes now. This is to allow the developers to test their applications on Snow Leopard without worrying that anything might change.
Snow Leopard promises several new features including OpenCL and 64-bit handling of u to 16TB of RAM!
Other features include:
- Microsoft Exchange Support out-of-the-box
- “Grand Central” – enhanced multi-core support
- Quicktime X – next-generation media handling
